We just received new spy shots of the Mercedes CLA: the latest mule of the “baby CLS” let us have a clearer idea about the possible design of the head lights, sunken in a body that is predictably pretty similar (especially in terms of proportions) to those the Concept Style Coupe we have seen a while ago. The CLA is also expected to be similar in size to that model, which measured 4639 mm in length, 1398 mm in height and 1891 mm and in width.
Apparently, in addition to the platform, the CLA will also share the same powertain with the B-Class. Thereby we would expect it to come with an exciting 2.0-litre turbo engine delivering 211 hp, four-wheel drive and the well-known 7G-DCT dual-clutch automatic transmission . Sources inside the 3-pointed star house have already confirmed that an AMG variant is already in the works, and that it will use new technical solutions that will be also offered on the A-Class.
