Bugatti has released a new 4-minute-and-a-half long video about the history of the brand, from the early days till the birth of the amazing Bugatti Veyron. Bugatti’s neverending quest for excellence through luxury, performance and technical vanguard has always been imprinted in this carmaker’s DNA since its foundation in 1909 in Molsheim, France.
The amazing Veyron is Bugatti’s latest creation, the hypercar par excellence of our era, with a wide number of variation that should make happy all the ultra-rich enthusiast of the French brand. Powered by a terrifying 8.0-litre quad-turbocharged W16, the most pushy version of the Veyron - the Super Sport - is credited with an output of 1,200 hp with 1,500 Nm of peak torque.
With a monstrosity like that under its bonnet (though this is a mid-engined car) the performance figures of this model are as jaw-dropping as you would imagine - in the case you are not already fully aware of that - 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of about 2.5 seconds and 425 km/h (265 mph) of top speed, making it the fastest road-legal production car in the world. However, if that vid is just not enough for you, the full 15-minute long version of it is available right after the jump.
