After six years at Alfa Romeo, Frank Stephenson resigned last week, leaving the company to find a new head for its design team: and as word has it, Christopher Reitz could be the new design chief.
The 40-year-old Austrian, after having graduated from the Swiss Art Center Europe, started his career at Volkswagon, before then passing to Audi’s Advance Design, and then finally finishing in Japan for Nissan. It will be interesting to see what Stephenson’s approach will be: after having brought to life the Mini and the 500, will he again give himself to another instant classic?
