No to a W16 Bentley

Bentley At the Geneva show our Dutch colleagues at Auto Week tested the waters of the Bentley company but received a blunt “no to a Bentley Arnage W16″. Rumours of using a W16 Bugatti Veyron engine on the luxurious English sedan had been circulating for some time but the project now appears shelved indefinitely.

The denial of a similar prospect arrived from Franz-Josef Paefgen, CEO of Bentley Motors and Bugatti President, who added that regarding another supposed engine project, “adopting a diesel motor on a Bentley is still undecided”.

We’ll have to wait then for a few months and a different market survey to see whether a Bentley driven by a V12 TDI from Audi will ever exist.
