Audi releases a new official video starring the renewed Audi RS5 model year 2013. The car boasts slightly different aesthetics that are particularly evident in its front-end whereas the mechanical part has been left untouched, meaning that under the hood pulses the same naturally aspirated 4.2-litre V8 of the previous version, that produces 450 hp at 8,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 430 Nm available between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm, which is also the same unit equipping the new RS4 Avant. The Audi RS5 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.6 seconds, reaching a limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). However, this last figure can go up to 280 km/h (173 mph) if you pay a little extra.

The Audi RS5 my 2013 uses the by now familiar ‘S-Tronic’ 7-speed dual clutch transmission and Audi’s trademark ‘Quattro’ all-wheel drive with limited slip differential, that in excellent grip conditions delivers 40% of the torque on the front axle and the remaining 60% at the back. According to the situation, these percentages can vary to up to 85% at the front and 70% at the rear.
