Mercedes releases the first official video teaser starring the new A-Class, a model that promises to be significantly different in both shape and contents from the successful model that it is going to replace. The car featured in this one-minute long film wears a sort of QR code camouflage livery that makes it look like one of those mules we often see in our spy shots. Apparently, the QR code featured in this clip is part of and leads to the “A-Class QR-Trophy”, a contest that will eventually reward one lucky winner with an invitation to the official unveiling of the new A-Class, which will take place during a dedicated and exclusive event.
The new Mercedes A-Class has been developed on the same MFA front-wheel drive platform that generated the recent B-Class, and will be available on the market with an engine line-up made of nine options: 5 petrol (with output ranging from 109 to 204 hp), and 4 diesel (with power delivery varying between 122 and 204 hp).
