Kia just released a few official images picturing the new Cee’d, which will be unveiled this coming March at the Geneva Motor Show and then enter the markets worldwide the following June. According to Dutch website AutoWeek.nl, in 2013 there will also be the return of a sporty version of the model, that will probably sit at the top of the range with the same 211 hp 1.6-litre turbocharged unit equipping the Hyundai Veloster Turbo, which has been unveiled just a few hours ago at the 2012 NAIAS in Detroit.
The new Cee’d should end up using the same engine line-up of its more famous sister, the Hyundai i30, while an automatic dual clutch transmission option should become available at some point in 2013.
