Diminutive Dutch carmaker Savage Rivale has released a new promo video starring the Roadyacht GTS, their original 4-door 4-seat rear wheel drive convertible coupe. The car is powered by a turbocharged 6.2-litre V8 engine borrowed from Corvette ZR1 and delivering 670 hp at 6,200 rpm with 730 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm, coupled with a 6-speed automatic transmission, two intercoolers and a titanium exhaust system. The Roadyacht GTS goes from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of about 330 km/h (205 mph) with average fuel consumption of 9.4 l/100km.

The model measures 4,350 mm in length, 1,998 in width and 1,156 in height, with 2,700 mm of wheelbase, and - thanks to the extensive use of carbon fibre - weights only 1,280 kg. Both front and rear suspension are adjustable double wishbone (courtesy of Koni/BBS) with braking coming from 380 mm carbo-ceramic discs and 8-piston calipers on the front and 355 mm discs with 4-piston calipers on the rear. Other remarkable features include the 20″ alloys, Xenon head lights and LED tail lights and, obviously the unusual way its 4 doors open, a scheme called ‘Wing Suicide Combi’. As for the interior, Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS uses fine materials such as carbon fibre, aluminum, leather and alcantara, electronically adjustable heated seats, infotainment system with touch screen and also a champagne cooler.

At the moment there are no news about the rumored racing version of the model, the GTR. The car is still in the carmaker’s plans (as the official website suggests) but it is unclear whether the development of the model is actually ongoing or they have rather put the whole thing on hold. The GTR project was quite ambitious as Savage Rivale wanted to set a new Nurburgring record lap for four-door cars, but we might need to wait a little longer to see that. As for now, we can just enjoy this new clip of its not-so-quiet sister.
