Chevrolet presents the Camaro Military Tribute, a one-off tribute car dedicated to American veterans that will be auctioned in January by Barret-Jackson in Scottsdale, Arizona, with all the proceeds going to the Achilles Freedom Team, which helps wounded veterans overcome their injuries through mainstream athletics, primarily marathons.
This silver Camaro has been designed by artist Mickey Harris and is meant to honour the five armed forces of the US: Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Coast Guard. It features the American flag and an eagle on the hood, battle scenes and some of the military’s highest individual awards and current campaign medals on the sides, and the words “Strength and Honor” under the rear spoiler.
Chevrolet Global Marketing and Strategy vice president Chris Perry commented: “We at Chevrolet want to do all we can to show our gratitude to the men and women serving in our armed forces, those who come home with life-changing injuries, who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.”
