Jaguar XKR-S Convertible at the Nurburgring: official video released

Jaguar released the first official video starring the new XKR-S Convertible. The footage shows the latest output from the British manufacturer (currently on display at the Los Angeles Auto Show) taking on Nurburgring North Course during its final stage of development, giving us the chance to hear its massive roar.

The new Jaguar model is pushed by a new supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine delivering 550 hp and 680 Nm of torque coupled with a a 6-speed automatic transmission. Performance figures of the XKR-S Convertible are 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of 4.4 seconds and top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). The lap time clocked by the car at the famous German circuit has not been revealed.

The brand new Jaguar XKR-S convertible roared to life, delighting participants of the present Los Angeles Auto Show. That’s just one week after the automobile was announced by the car maker. Collectors are certain to want this drop-top version of Jag’s fastest and most effective model.
