Chevrolet presents the Cobalt, a new sedan measuring 4.48 meters in length, 1.73 meters in width and 1.51 meters in height. The car will soon be on sale in 40 countries spread across Europe, Africa, Middle East and South America, while in North America it will give Chevy’s Cruze a clear run. The Cobalt has a 2.62 meters long wheel-base and a 563 litres of boot capacity, with plenty of space in the passenger compartment. Chevrolet claims that the model can comfortably accommodate up to five adults.

In Brazil the engine range will consist of a 1.4 flex-fuel and a 1.8 gasoline units: the former will provide 104 hp when running on ethanol or 98 hp when running on petrol, while no performance figures are available for the latter. However, the engine range will be different from market to market.
