Chevrolet Spark Bubble

The Chevrolet Spark has come a long way since the days when it was a rebadged and cheap looking Daewoo. Today's Spark is a good city car that comes with a lot of the equipment people demand and with more safety features than other cars in its class.

Chevrolet has now announced the latest model to be added to the range, the limited edition Spark Bubble. They haven’t confirmed the countries it will be sold in but have told us that it’s due for release in “select European markets” during 2014. The new car will make its public debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in September but before then Chevy has given us these official images which show that a sportier front bumper, 15-inch alloys and bubble decals have been added. The interior has been changed with the addition of a restyled centre console and inserts that match the bubble pattern found on the bodywork.

Chevy has also announced that the new 2014 Aveo will also be part of the Frankfurt show, as will the 2014 Cruze which will now come with a new MyLink infotainment system which has sat-nav and voice recognition technology. The American car maker will also be showing a new look Orlando, which has restyled wheels and LED indicators in the wing mirrors and a reworked Malibu will also be on the stand.

Aside from creating this limited edition, Chevrolet has also updated the current line-up. Standard equipment that’s been added to the existing range includes an Electronic Stability Control system and a radio with Bluetooth connectivity. The instrument panel has been revised and the interior trims been given a new look.
