These freshly-released videos are dedicated to the new Honda Civic, a model defined by a more moden design without losing its original shapes. And according to Honda, the new-generation Civic is very much improved in terms of comfort, on-board quality of life and safety.

It will debut in Europe - cleaner and more penny-wise - at the beginning of 2012 only in its five-door version. Engineers’ work has been mainly focused on suspensions, interiors’ materials, aerodynamics and, moreover, engines. The Japanese compact will mount either a petrol engine - 1.4 l or 1.8 l - or a 2.2 l turbodiesel (150 hp, 350 Nm with CO2 emissions of 110 g/km). All motors come with a six-speed manual gearbox, start&stop and Hill Start Assist. The 1.8 petrol is the only one with a five-speed automatic gearbox alternative option.
