A Porsche 911 Carrera GTS (997 series), four Parkour practitioners, a mertropoli and some charming road on the French Alps: these are the main ingredients of this interesting video titled “Parkour 997” and made by Pascal Lemoine. The term ‘Parkour’ derives from the French words “Parcours du combattant” (”The Path of the Fighter”), which is a sort of training path used in military training created by Georges Hébert and inspired David Belle to establish this sport.
The all-wheel drive 911 Carrera 4 GTS is pushed by a 3.8-litre in-line six-cylinder unit producing 408 horsepower and 420 Nm of peak torque and paired to either the standard six-speed manual transmission or the optional seven-speed PDK (Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe) double-clutch gearbox. With the former, the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Coupe can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, with the latter you can trim 2 tenths off that time. Thanks to Porsche Intelligent Performance, the 911 Carrera GTS Coupe has an average fuel consumption of 11.0 l/100 km (11.2 l/100 km for the Convertible).
Distinguishing features on the exterior of this awesome Porsche model include a wide body kit with a wider rear track, 19-inch alloy wheels in black with central locking, a front apron with a black spoiler lip and black side skirts. As for the interior - typical of the GTS - the sporty black Alcantara covering on centre panels, steering wheel rim, gearshift and handbrake lever, door handles and door storage box lid and extension are offered as standard in addition to a range of leather upholstery options.
