Not even a month has passed since BMW showed us the M3 Concept in Geneva, and already we are seeing leaked official photos of the producation version, expected in september in showrooms.

The photos show a nice red M3 with dark alloy rims. Even the powerdome is starting to look not bad at all.

Here is a summary of what is known about the V8 engine of the M3: a capacity of 4.0liters, a weight of 202 kg, maximum output will be 420 ps (22% more than the E46 M3) at 8,300 rpm, torque will be 400 Nm at 3,900 rpm, average fuel consumption will be 12.4 liters/100 km (8% less than the E46 M3).

Top speed without the electronic limiter will be around 295 km/h (250 km/h with limiter), acceration from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
