Fiat USA has released a new commercial featuring Fiat 500L and Fiat 500, the famous Italian compact car proving a hit across the pond. Just a few months after its launch Fiat 500 has become the best selling Citycar in North America, dominating its segment with a market share of 58%, which eclipsed the competition in what is expected to become U.S.’ most flourishing market.
In this new witty video Fiat recreates the War of 1812 in which the British Empire invaded North America: this time round, though, it’s the Italians invading the US with their Fiat 500 and the new Fiat 500L. Their arrival causes a massive stir to the population and what was a rigorously austere town till then soon become the coolest place to be.
Fiat strongly relies on Fiat 500L to further expand its North American market. Practical, spacious yet compact, Fiat 500L is an easily manageable car, ideal to drive even in the most chaotic city. Following the European success of this model, very appreciated by customers thanks to its excellent dynamic characteristics, efficient engines and large interior space, Fiat 500L could prove a true global success: significant figures are also expected in the U.S. market.
Fiat new compact MPV proves extremely comfortable, fun to drive and spacious. Despite measuring only 415 cm, Fiat 500L boasts cosy interior and good leg room, combined to a large 343 or 400 litres luggage compartment, depending on the rear seats position.
