It seems that Audi is going to show a Bluetec version of its awesome Audi Q7 V12 TDI in Detroit. Bluetec is the brand for “clean” diesel engines which Audi, Mercedes and VW are trying to establish in the USA.
Compared to the european version of the Q7 V12 TDI, this one seems to have a bit more “bling”: the chromed alloy rims are more in evidence with the white paintjob, as is the candid white leather in the cockpit. A notable change in the exterior is the form of the exhaust tubes: now it’s oval, instead of trapezoidal.
Engine and performance data should be unchanged: 500 ps, 1.000 Nm, from 0-100 km/h in 5,5 seconds.
