Here are the first official pics of the new BMW M5 F10. The images are low-res from Autoblog and come with the first technical details of the new M sedan. The BMW M5 has all the usual styling cues of an ‘M’ model with large front air intakes, 20-inch wheels and rear extractor with paired exhaust outlets. The interior has plenty of M badging just in case the power you’re driving doesn’t let you know it earlier.
The new M5 has a 4.4-litre V8 Twinturbo engine with 560 hp and 680 Nm of torque. The sprint to 100 km/hr should take 4.4 seconds. The new M5 should come with a DTC transmission, but internal sources suggest a manual will also be available. Despite this being the next from the powerful M stable, BMW has also worked on fuel consumption, with this new M5 more economical than the last. German pricing for the BMW M5 should be about 100,000 euros.
