The Mercedes GL Grand Edition is a special edition model for the seven-seater Mercedes GL-Class SUV. Going large for everything, the GL Grand Edition has 20-inch wheels in Himalayas Grey Metallic with wheels measuring 275/50. The interior has twin-tone leather in black/porcelain or black/brown, and there is a dark wooden trim.

The blacked-out effect is used across the front grille and around the headlights, which now have LED day driving lights. New tinted windows are available, as well as interior ambient lighting, comfort headrests on the front seats, personalised floor mats, sports pedals and brushed aluminium door sills. It’s a kind of commando meets cool fit-out for the large SUV.

The GL Grand Edition will be offered with all the options from the engine range, each with 4MATIC all-wheel drive and adjustable Airmatic suspension. Prices range from 80,206 euros for the GL350, up to 81,396 for the GL350 CDI. The mid-range GL450 costs 91,868 euros while the top ranging GL500 is an expensive 99,127 euros.
