Don’t you just love it when Italian brands get together and give us this sort of stuff? While we’ve seen more special editions of the Fiat 500 than we care to note, the Fiat 500 by Gucci is something a bit different. It brings together Italy’s latest automotive retro craze with one of the world’s greatest fashion houses.

According to the car manufacturer, the Fiat 500 interior has been personalised by Gucci creative director Frida Giannini in collaboration with the Fiat Style Centre. The photos were taken by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot and getting Natasha Poly dressed in a Gucci little black dress and draped across the front will probably be the highlight for most.

For others, the highlight could be the “tricolore” stripe around the car, but we doubt it. While the car is distinctly Italian, and will go on sale in Europe from June at a price of about €17,100, the Fiat 500 by Gucci will get international pre-launch events in cities like Paris, London and Tokyo.
