After the Lamborghini Aventador debuted to much glitter at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, attention has turned once again to the models possibly to appear in a future Lamborghini line-up. These are purely rumours at this stage, so we’ll take them as such to avoid disappoint.

According to the Team Speed forum the following Lamborghini product plan will happen:

2011: Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 and Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder
2012: Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster and top-ranging Lamborghini Sesto Elemento
2013: the new Lamborghini Gallardo, currently called the Cabrera (pure speculation here, too)

The next three years that follow will be busy as well with an onslaught of:

2014: Lamborghini Estoque and Lamborghini Cabrera Spyder
2015: Lamborghini Estoque Convertible Concept
2016: restyling of Aventador coupe and roadster.

The update could see a more powerful version of the centrally-engined V12 model take place, with an additional 50 horsepower and a reduced weight of about 150 kg. The facelift would introduce a new light and diffusor set-up at the rear, as well as a new profile at the front. The timeline continues (where all this information is coming from, is anyone’s guess):

2017: Lamborghini Cabrera SL and Estoque Convertible
2018: Cabrera restyling
2019: Lamborghini Jota LP850 (a Reventon-inspired Aventador with more power and less weight than the Aventador restyling)
2020: Estoque facelift (both sedan and convertible), and the Estoque Coupé Concept headed for 2021 production

It all looks a little excessive to us, even for an ambitious brand like Lamborghini. If any of this is true, though, it might go to show how much scope there is to expand the Lamborghini line-up. But like we said, there looks to be plenty of wishful thinking here and none of the above includes special edition models, of which we think there will be a few.
