Audi RS3 Sportback vs BMW 1 Series M
This video is dedicated to the Audi RS3 and gives us the full tour of the model set to be the biggest competitor to the BMW 1 Series M. For its part the RS3 is equipped with a five-cylinder, 2.5-litre turbo engine with 340 hp and 450 Nm of torque. There is plenty of rev noise in the video if you’re interested.
The RS3 is also equipped with Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system, seven-speed S Tronic gearbox and Launch Control. It has an acceleration time to 100 km/hr of 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/hr. It will compete against the new 1 Series M Coupe which has rear-wheel drive and a six-cylinder turbo engine.
The BMW has the advantage of a coupé body (especially in the US market) and a bit more historical clout, but we’re attracted by the all-wheel drive of the RS3. With the camp divided into BMW and Audi fans, we doubt there will ever be a clear winner, but that doesn’t stop us from checking out the RS3 video in the meantime.

03 Sep 2011 - 21:06 - #5Audi rs3 is quicker than the 1m its a musch better car better interior etc. One of the fastest gear boxes in the world. BMW may be fun but think about it when people buy these car not all of them are going to use it on a track they are used more on the road and for the road the audi is a better car. If an rs3 stop at a robot and a 1m pulls in next to it the rs3 will beat is about 2 car lengths . The bmw driver will be embarassed and thats were most people race robot to robot. People say the BMW is a more fun car but when the audi beats the bmw driver cant say his car is more fun he will be embarassed
