This gallery shows the first Singer Porsche 911 production model and we’d love to get our hands on one of these vintage-look, but modern-driven, 911’s. The engine is a 3.82-litre flat six unit with 482 hp, and there’s plenty of carbon fibre being used, but Singer has dressed its machine in vintage Porsche clothes.
The Singer 911 costs nearly 200,000 USD but there are both mechanical and luxury reasons to such a price tag. Engine modifications include new Ninemeister cylinder heads, new pistons and camshafts and a new drive shaft from the 997 GT3. More updates have been to the oil pump, exhaust system and there are titanium piston rods, too. A Motec M800 engine management system with launch control has been installed.
The Singer 911 has Brembo brakes and Bilstein suspension, and in terms of luxury finishes, we get a Tag Heuer Chronograph, Recaro leather seats and an RSR steering wheel. It’s expensive, yes, but the Singer 911 has everything you could want from retro good looks to hot performance.
