The Maserati GranCabrio Sport on show at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show is a special sports version that combines the class of the GranCabrio with the performance of the Granturismo MC Stradale. The GranCabrio Sport is equipped with Maserati’s 4.7-litre V8 engine with 450 hp and 510 Nm of torque. It has the ZF gearbox with MC Auto Shift and new Skyhook electronically controlled suspension. The sports exhaust has ByPass valves and we can only imagine what this must sound like.
The Maserati GranCabrio Sport has a top speed of 285 km/hr, and the sprint to 100 km/hr takes just 5.2 seconds. The model distinguishes itself through red detailing on the Trident logo, Astro Design 20-inch alloy wheels and an updated aerodynamic kit. The new colour, Rosso Trionfale, has been created specifically for this model to honour the 250F victories of Juan Manuel Fangio. The interior comes in Pregiato White and Chrome Grey.
