Mixing cars with fashion has been done before. The Fiat 500 by Gucci, the Mini Cooper by Kenneth Cole and the Range Rover Evoque Victoria Beckham Edition are just some of those we’ve seen in the past. Now Chrysler has added to the growing list with the Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition.
If you’re not really into fashion, John Varvatos is known for men’s high fashion. So far we’ve only had these teaser style shots that present the urban mood the manufacturer is always looking for with the 300C. Unfortunately they’re too dark to tell us much about the new machine. What we can see is the Phantom Black paintwork and titanium trim, the Chrysler and John Varvatos badges and the dual exhausts at the rear. The front end looks like it’s borrowed from the SRT8’s parts bin as there are larger air intakes and a more pronounced spoiler. The 20 inch alloys also help the urban feel and the tinted rear lights complete the look.
Inside you’ll find Nappa leather on the seats which actually have metallic flakes embedded into the hide. The designer’s logo is embossed into the backrests of the front seats and the instrument panels have been redesigned to resemble the designer’s watch faces.
With the manufacturer’s 3.6 litre Pentastar V-6 and their eight-speed automatic transmission as standard, this is a quick machine. But if you want a bit more than a standard John Varvatos Limited Edition, you can opt for a 5.7 litre Hemi V-8.
