Hyundai Motor Company released some exterior renderings of the new ‘HND-9‘, its latest a rear-wheel drive, high-performance sports coupe concept that hints at Hyundai’s next-generation luxury sports coupe design. The HND-9 represents an evolution of Hyundai’s fluidic sculpture design philosophy and features sophisticated details in every design element meant to reinforce its premium aesthetics.
The look of the Hyundai HND-9 concept characterized by long hood and wheelbase, sleek lines that stretch from headlamp to trunk, a voluminous car body and a wide hexagonal-shaped radiator grille underscoring the high performance image of the concept. Moreover, the model comes with butterfly doors, spiral-shaped lines connected to the headlamp, silver coating, dual twin muffler and some pretty distinctive head and rear lamps, that provide the car with a quite futuristic look.
The HND-9 is equipped with a 3.3-liter turbo GDi engine delivering 370 hp and mated to a 8-speed automatic transmission. The model is set to make its world debut during Hyundai’s press conference on March 28 at the 2013 Seoul Motor Show. More details will be revealed at the show.
