Fiat 500 Spy-shots

Quattroruote, the leading Italian automotive magazine, managed to grab some spy-shots of the Fiat 500 in Turin.

It’s difficult to see what’s new under the camouflage, compared to the Fiat Trepiuno concept. The 500 seems to lose the central exhaust tube, in favour of a normal terminal placed on the left (see photo from the rear).

From the front one can see 4 slim air inlets, just under the place where the 500 will get the “vintage” Fiat logo. The door-handles seem changed too. We are waiting for more news on the engines (the countdown for the presentation is at -449 days), but it seems a foregone conclusion that the 500 will get a 1.1 liters gasoline engines and some of the 1.3 liters Multijet turbodiesel engine (detuned version with 55 hp ? the 75 hp ?).

in september 2007 the new fiat Cinquecento will be ready, and i can’t wait to go and try it!
i personally love the design.

There’s also a website (http:www.fiat500.com) in which it is possible to “pimp” your own 500 with a car designer.
