This is what we really wanted from BMW for a Chirstmas video - a look at the 1 Series M coupe in action alongside the original BMW E30 M3. The latter is intended as the true predecessor to the new 1 Series M coupe, which itself is supposed to get back to BMW M Sport roots. The jury is still out on that front but so far it looks promising with a few modifications made to pare things back and get back to basics. You’ll have to be patient with the video as the opening includes lots of jerky shots of a garage door, but if you’re dying to see the track action, skip to the five-and-a-half minute mark.
