Yokohama tyres are displaying some of their products at the 83rd Geneva Motor Show under the slogan, “Love Driving”. They’re stand presents their flagship Advan brand and introduces the Advan Sport V105, which has been built for high performance cars.
It’s the successor to the Advan sport V103, which has been used on many premium cars. According to the manufacturer it offers “more speed and more comfort” at high speed and to demonstrate the sort of car the tyre’s been developed for Yokohama have a Mercedes Benz SL-Class on their stand. The stand also introduces the Advan line for SUVs, the Advan S.T, and the street sports tyre, the Advan Neova AD08R, each of which were previously displayed at the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon.
Aside from the Advan line, the tyre and rubber manufacturer are using the 2013 Geneva Motor Show to display their line of low consumption tyres. The BluEarth range’s flagship tyre, the BluEarth 1 and the BluEarth AE-01 are being shown along with a tyre called the Geolander that’s been developed to help SUV’s lower their fuel consumption.
As with Goodyear and Dunlop, Yokohama is taking doing their part to help increase fuel efficiency and that their BluEarth range is built on the principles of “being human and socially friendly combined with improvements to environmental performance.” As well as lowering consumption, the range also benefits safety and comfort. The Japanese tyre company are using Geneva to show that they can mix it with the biggest brands.
