The Ferrari 458 Challenge is the race-ready version of the 458 Italia, seen in this first video released by the company. The Challenge model has been prepared for the Ferrari racing series and has some new components compared to the 430 Challenge. The electronics system has been modified and now includes ABS and EBD, Ferrari’s F1-Trac technology and an electronic differential. A new braking system similar to that of the 599 XX has been developed with Brembo while the suspension now uses steel and aluminium components for much stiffer driving. The 4.5-litre V8 remains as is, with its 570 hp. The video is in Italian but at least we get to see the 458 Challenge on a proper track drive.
