Here are the first pics of the Opel Antara restyling which will be presented at the Bologna Motor Show in December. The Opel SUV gets a few style updates as well as a new range of Euro 5 compliant engines. The 2.4-litre petrol engine gets an extra 30 hp, taking it 170 hp, while the 2.0-litre diesel engine is being replaced by a new 2.2 CDTI with two powersteps of 163 hp (an extra 36) or 184 hp (extra 34 hp). The two models get new electronic handbrake and Hill Holder technology.
The rear of the Antara gets the most touch-ups with a more elegant, less off-road rear bumper and redesigned registration plate and fog lights. There are new alloy 19-inch wheels, chrome finishes and LED technology, while on the interior the centre console has been redesigned. New materials have been used and the instrument panel has been updated, too. More to come when the show starts on December 4.
