Alfa Romeo BreraSome driving impressions of the Alfa Brera from 4Car, while we are left here macerating, still waiting for a call from Alfa.

First, the conclusions: “Verdict: Giugiaro’s 2002 concept-car made real is a rapid, high-quality, properly sporting coupĂ© with a full complement of Alfa virtues - and seemingly none of the old snags“.

4Car seems especially pleased with the solid feel of the Brera and an apparently excellent build quality. Their list of assets: “Dramatic concept-car styling, great-sounding engines, crisp handling with a good ride, high-quality cabin with stylish leather trim, glass roof.

The drawbacks: “Limited space in the back, steering lacks true road feel, transmission can be clunky.
