We’re only a few days away from the official launch and Citroen really haven’t left us much to anticipate. Following on from the facelift shots we brought you last week, Citroen has released a couple of extra images that show the new look Citroen C3 on the road. When these images are combined with those we had last week, we’re left with no doubt that this is a mild facelift of the firm’s supermini.
The front end now has LED running lights and the rear light cluster has also been revised. In the cabin real attention to detail has resulted in a quality feel. The Zenith windscreen that’s best seen from the bird’s eye view shot should improve visibility and give a spacious feel to the cabin as light floods in.
Inside there’s a new strip on the dash, which is available in brown, grey or black, and the seats are wrapped in fresh fabric covers. There are now nine colours, rather than eight as a new blue’s been added. In the UK the new look C3 will go on sale from the spring when two extra engines will be added to the range. There’s a 68 hp 1.0 litre petrol, which replaces the 1.1 litre and provides 65.7 mpg, and the existing 1.4 diesel’s been revised with power boosted to 115 hp.
We haven’t been given any prices, but we’re expecting the updated supermini to still be priced between £10, 890 and £16,590 when it goes on sale at the end of May.
