The Swedish supercar maker has revealed details of the Koenigsegg Agera S Hundra, that will be shown at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. These three teaser shots don’t offer much information but as Hundra is Swedish for 100 we’re expecting the special edition to be limited to just 100 examples.
Koenigsegg has confirmed that the special edition has a carbon fibre exterior that is inlayed with gold leaf. The ‘standard’ Agera comes in at £750,000 and uses a carbon fibre chassis with aluminium honeycomb. We’re sure the Hundra will cost a bit more than the quarter of a million price tag attached to the existing car and produce a bit more horsepower from the 4.7 litre V-8 engine that current pumps out 898 hp at 6,850 rpm and the 8,111 lb-ft of torque that’s available at 5,100 rpm.
Let’s face it you don’t need teaser shots to build up anticipation for a supercar’s arrival and with a 0-62 mph time of 3.1 seconds and a 0-124 mph time that’s just under 9.0 seconds, this is a car that probably needs no introductions.
If you’re in Geneva for the motor show you might want to ask at the Koenigsegg stand exactly what the special edition’s top speed is as the standard car is able to get to just under 250 mph, we hope that this edition cracks 250 mph.
