Original rumours that Ferrari’s big surprise for the 2010 Paris Motor Show was going to be a four-door coupé model have since been denied, and seems that Ferrari will be presenting another ecological model instead. Company clarification came with statements saying that as Ferrari is part of Fiat Group, it’s ‘role’ in that group is to produce sports-focused two-door models, no exceptions.
While many might be indulging in fantasy ideas about future Ferrari models, it’s clear that the company doesn’t intend to stray too far from its current lineup. Meanwhile, at the Paris show we will be seeing the current range of Ferraris and nothing new, according to the company.
But a question about a new version of a current model has been met with a ‘no comment’ answer from the company, leaving open the possibility that we will still see something new, quite likely to be in a shade of green. It might not be hybrid, but Ferrari has said that the focus of their Paris event will be on emissions and consumption.
