Volkswagen has a special version of the Golf GTI to commemorate the 30th aniversary of the GTI:
The Golf GTI “Edition 30″.
The Edition 30 is made by Volkswagen Individual, after a survey of GTI owners, to discover what they would have wanted to be different in their cars. The result is richer specs, some tuner-like exterior modifications (bigger spoilers and skirts painted the same red as the body) rear lights with black glass, glossy 18″ alloy rims and a nice power boost of 30 ps for the 2.0 Turbo-FSI engine, which now outputs 230 ps.
If I read Auto Motor und Sport correctly, the 2.0 TFSI engine with 230 ps might be coming to a production Golf later this year.
