With a new Cadillac CTS on the way in 2014 we’re not surprised to see the luxury marque offering limited edition run-out models. Each offers a uniquely coloured exterior and a few cosmetic changes and both will only be available in 2013.
The Silver Frost edition Cadillac CTS-V Coupe will be limited to a run of just 100 examples and is set to arrive in American dealers during March. Cadillac have applied a “30 gloss” clear paint to the car to achieve the sparkle you see in these shots. Most cars have an “80 gloss” finish, so the owners of this limited model will have to hand wash the coupe or risk losing the shine in a car wash. Aside from the custom paint work, the Silver Frost coupe offers a choice of red or yellow Brembo brakes and highly polished or graphite alloy wheels.
Unlike the Frost Silver Coupe, the 2013 Cadillac CTS Stealth Blue Edition won’t be restricted to 100 units, but it will also be part of a limited run. Cadillac haven’t given us a number but that might be because the Stealth Blue edition will be available as a coupe, sedan or a wagon. Aside from a custom paint job, that Caddy are describing as “a vibrant new colour in a more traditional metallic finish,” owners will get a “Twilight Blue” leather covered interior, a set of satin graphite wheels and silver brake callipers.
With only one UK dealer, Bauer Millett and Co. Ltd in Manchester, we can’t see too many limited edition Cadillacs making it onto British roads, so unsurprisingly no UK prices have been announced for either model.
