After our post that Victoria Beckham has got herself a gig at Range Rover as a style consultant, here’s the video of the presentation of the actual new car itself, the Range Rover Evoque. It looks like the company celebrated its 40 years in style, and the Evoque is a smooth, sexy effort from the company that probably hasn’t had any input so far by the former Miss Posh Spice.

Getting away from Range Rover cashing in on a celebrity splash (something it should have avoided perhaps - it won’t have done itself any favours among Range Rover fans or serious car purchasers), the Evoque is a compact SUV which is the production version of the LRX Concept. It will initially be released as a three-door model, to be followed by a five-door version, in both front and all-wheel-drive options.

The Range Rover Evoque production version will debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show and will be available for sale in Europe in summer 2011, followed by the US and other markets later that year.
