The Opel Insignia 2.0 CTDI 4×4 is the first model that combines a diesel unit with all-wheel drive in the Insignia line-up, and it debuts with the new 2.8-litre V6 Turbo with 260 hp (also 4×4). Originally the Adaptive all-wheel drive mode was available only on the two-litre turbo with 220hp, or with the OPC 325 hp models, but Opel is expanding this offering across its other models, meaning you can now have 160 hp with your 4×4.
The new Insignia 4×4 option comes with ELsd autobloc differential and an automatic gearbox, and comes in both the sedan and Insignia Sports Tourer models. In August the “Indian Summer” kit will be available with black leather interior and cream cashmere stitching on the seats, steering wheel, gear stick and door finishes.
