A devoted reader of our parent-site Autoblog.it nicknamed “Germanicus” just sent us this spy photo of a mysterious mule undergoing some winter testing on the Alps, stating that “this picture was taken last week by my father, near St. Moritz. It looks like a Fiat Panda, but I have serious doubts about that… ”
Indeed, it is quite difficult to figure out which car it really is: the side view is actually pretty similar to that of the Italian city car, but the overall dimensions of the mule seem to be more generous than those of the Panda. The side glazing is also quite different, more slender toward the rear section of the car, while the roof gradually thickens towards the boot.
Speaking of which, the latter is very reminiscent of that of the Kia Soul model that was launched in 2009. This would suggest that the pictured model could actually be the compact crossover of the South Korean carmaker getting the usual mid-life face-lift. As for the rest of the car, unfortunately the camouflage does its job pretty well not allowing us to collect more hints. What do you think it is?
