In the wake of the variants dedicated to Baker Street, Bayswater, Hyde Park and Green Park, the Mini Clubman Bond Street is yet another rendition of the Mini Clubman paying tribute to the British Capital, a new addition to the family that Mini will showcase at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show (7-17 March). Named after the exclusive shopping street in the West End of London, the MINI Clubman Bond Street stays true to its name with a particularly ’stylish’ design that makes it as classy as possible.
As for the exterior, the model comes with an elegant Midnight Black Metallic paint job enriched with some details in Cool Champagne, a new exclusive color that has been chosen for the roof, wing mirrors, C-pillars and the stripes on the bonnet. The Mini clubman Bond Street rides on 17-inch Twin Spoke black wheels with Cool Champagne lining, while the logo of this special edition can be spotted on the frames of the side indicators and on door sills.
The passenger compartment is obviously as classy as the exterior, with black Leather Lounge sports seats with contrast stitching in Deep Champagne, leather covered dash, Deep Champagne surfaces and Chrome Line finish, leather armrests lined with contrasting color seams, Climate, Bluetooth and floor mats with Deep Champagne accent stitching, The MINI Clubman Bond Street will be offered with four engines options - though their availability may vary according to the country - two diesel (112 and 143 hp) and two petrol (122 and 184 hp), all of which will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. A six-speed automatic option will also be made available as an optional extra. The Clubman Bond Street is expected to hit the dealerships in March, right after its official unveiling in Switzerland.
