The Koenigsegg Agera is one of the most exclusive hypercars in the world, and there’s only a handful of wealthy clients that can afford to put one of them in the garage. The value of this car, even on the used market, is almost always pretty high because of the rarity of the model, and here’s the perfect example of that: a motorist living in Liechtenstein has recently put his own Agera X up for sale, but the car has something special to it, something that revolves around the number ‘8′. It is in fact the eight Agera ever built, it has the chassis number ‘88′, an ‘888′ matching plate number and it can be yours for 888,888 € (approximately £ 725,421 / $ 1,172,799), taxes not included.
This particular Koenigsegg Agera X was produced in 2011 and has traveled for 3,250 km (2,020 miles). It has a matt black paint job with red stripes that recalls some details of the interior while the engine is obviously the usual 5.0 liter twin-turbo V8, an engine credited with an of 940 horsepower and 1100 Nm of peak torque. This unit allows the 1290 Kg Agera to sprint from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.1 seconds, reaching a top speed of 398 km/h (247 mph).
However, if these figures are not enough to meet the requirements of some potential buyers, the model can upgraded to the even more performing ‘R’ version at the Koenigsegg factory in Sweden: for approximately 180.000 €, they would boost its output up to a staggering 1,140 hp, peak torque would go up to 1.200 Nm and the 0-100 km/h sprint time would get trimmed to 2.9 seconds. The car got serviced last time in March 2012 at the Koenigsegg factory in Angelholm, Sweden, and if you want to make an offer here is the link at JamesList.com. Good luck with that.
