Peugeot 1007

The Peugeot 1007 is out of production after disappointing sales has made it a commercial failure in recent years. Peugeot sold just 10,400 units in the last year, producing in total just 120,000 units in five years of production. That figure is what Peugeot had oringally hoped to sell in just one year.

According to reports, the failure of the 1007 can be attributed to its high price point, given that the car was originally intended as a city people mover. The space made on the Peugeot production line will now be dedicated to manufacturing the Citroen DS3 and Citroen C3, alongside the Peugeot 207.

So, farewell, then, the greatest car ever built. I am a little sadder knowing my 6′ high gleaming french chariot, is amongst the last of its kind.
