A first photo of the Saab Aero-X concept that will be shown next week in Geneva. The engine of this coupè should be a V6 bi-turbo with about 400 cv and BioPower (flex fuel: gasoline or ethanol).
According to Saab mangers’ declarations, the Aero-X anticipates the styling of the upgoming substitute for the 9-5 saloon, but it might also go into production, on a shortened Epsilon platform.
There’s no confirmation, but seeing the power output of the engine (400 hp) it’s likely that X in this case stands for 4WD, instead of meaning “crossover” like in recent Saab names. [From Trollhattan Saab]
