Mercedes SLS AMG Gullwing live pics from Frankfurt

The Mercedes SLS AMG Gullwing has been revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and the whole crowd skipped a beat for a second in front of this seriously powerful and seriously sophisticated supercar. The Gullwing debut was imbued with a dramatic touch of special effects with stage smoke used and then the arrival of Lewis Hamilton and Dieter Zetsche on stage.

And, really, we didn’t expect otherwise with this debut, given the legendary status of the SLS AMG and its fearlessness given the other rivals at the Frankfurt show. But! The red colour suggests a try-hard attempt to put Ferrari in its place. To have seen the Alubeam tint would have been the ultimate here, but we’re happy with the Gullwing all the same.
