Maserati Gran Cabrio live pics from Frankfurt
The Maserati Gran Cabrio debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show is seen in these live pics, but it was a frustrating wait after what seemed to be interminable speeches and a long-winded retracing of Maserati’s cabrio past, from the 3500GT Vignale from 1960, passing through the sublime Mistral and Ghibli models, before arriving at the Spyder of 2001.
All lovely, but whatever! Finally the wraps were off and here is the lovely open-top Maserati Gran Cabrio with its 4.7-litre V8 engine in an alluminium frame for rigidity and lightweight performance.
