Bugatti Galibier Concept

Here are pics and the official video of the Bugatti 16C Galibier Concept. The foor door supercar is in concept form and won’t be shown at Frankfurt Show this week, having been presented in Molsheim, France at centennial celebrations. The Galibier could become a production model by 2013 however, replacing the Veyron due to retire in 2012.

The engine is the same W12 as the Veyron, but with an eight-speed torque convertor automatic transmission. The body includes both alluminium and carbon fibre structure, and other features include the double opening bonnet in the style of the Bugatti’s from the 1930’s and a central sping running down the length of the hatch-style.

If it does make it into production, up to 300 could be made with pricing at about 900,000 pounds. Some of the interior has the luxury Bugatti touch with, for example, a Swissmade Parmigiani clock that can be removed to be worn as a wrist watch. The video is after the jump.
