Here’s a look at the Maserati Gran Cabrio, with a peek at the roof up as well. Whether down or up, we think you’ll agree it’s a lovely motorcar. And with the long waiting list, it’s probably the only glimpse we’re likely to get.

Available from spring next year to those lucky enough to have ordered it, the Gran Cabrio will be equipped with two V8 engine options as appear on the coupè: a 4.2 litre unit with 405 hp, and a 4.7-litre unit with 440 hp, offered only in the S version.
