As car lovers, we think the Maserati in these pics is the beautiful element, but the garage design comes close too. The images are the result of a competition from Maserati and Architectural Digest magazine to award the best garage.
The competition had two categories of existing and concept, and was judged according to criteria of uniqueness, personality and architectural worth. The only rule was to be the owner of a Maserati.
The ‘Existing’ category was won by Holger Schubert for the “garage” at his Californian ranch, with a view over west Los Angeles. The Concept Garage award went to a garage in construction at Mount Pleasant in South Carolina. If you wish to employ this kind of design in your own backyard, see the gallery below.
