Alfa Romeo has presented the Alfa Brera Italia Independent special series. The coupé was revealed at the luxury Porto Cervo seaside resort in Sardinia. The Brera Italia Independent limited edition will have 900 units made, and will first appear in Europe, with Japanese and Australian markets following. In Italy, the special edition will be available from September at a cost of 32,200 euros.
One model will spend summer at Porto Cervo, on display in front of a new sushi restaurant and lounge bar. The Brera Italia Independent is equipped with a 2.2-litre JTS Selespeed engine, and will have opaque titanium body work, new 18-inch alloys and a turbine design. It will have opaque black and alluminiun features, and red brake calipers.
Carbon fibre inserts dress the interior, while the leather steering wheel is matched to Poltrona Frau leather seats. Red circles surround the instrumentation and the colour is also featured on the pedals. The Brera Italia Independent is available in petrol engine options only.
